Veg Poha
Ingredients
- 2 cups - flaked rice
- 1 - carrot grated
- ¼ bowl French beans
- ¼ cup chopped onions
- 1 - chopped green chilli
- 1 tbsp - chopped spinach
- a pinch - asafoetida
- 1/4tsp - mustard seeds
- salt to taste
- coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp - lemon juice
- 1 tbsp - oil
Method:
- Put flaked rice in a strainer and keep it under running water for a minute to get soaked.
- Season hot oil in a pan with asafoetida, mustard seeds and curry leaves and chopped onions.
- Add grated spinach, green chilli, carrot, French beans.
- Add chopped green chilli.
- Add the flaked rice and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Serve garnished with coriander leaves and sprinkle lemon juice
